This cushion does a good job of relieving pain from sitting too long. I've not yet had the opportunity to use it during a long flight, but I am reasonably hopeful that it would be a welcome accessory, and one that can fit easily into a carry-on.

However, for the price, it's a touch out of what I would be comfortable spending. That said, it is certainly a quality, comfortable item.
